Quarter Turn Worm Gear Box (MBGT)

Quarter Turn Worm Gear Boxes are used for on/off or modulating control of any rotary quarter turn valve such as Ball Valve, Butterfly Valve, Plug Valve, and Spherical Valve utilizing manual drive, electric motorized drive or pneumatic drive.

FEATURES


  • Torque Range 3000Nm to 500,000Nm
  • Standard housing material is cast iron. Material options ductile iron, carbon steel or stainless steel. 
  • Stainless Steel input shaft, fasteners, hand wheel etc. available upon request. 
  • Supriya Gear Box is fitted with high performance axial bearings. 
  • Special features such as Namur mounting option for limit switch box, padlock arrangement, chain wheel arrangement, extension shaft for buried service, etc. are available. 
  • Maintenance free, increased durability and Grease filled for life. 
  • Gear Box can also be provided with removable splined bushings between the gear drive and the valve shaft. 
  • Supriya gear boxes are AWWA C504, CE marked (Machinery Directive), API6D (Suitable) and IP68, IP67 Ingress Protection certified.
  • Special Seals and grease are provided for severe service applications.
  • High temperature up to +200°C and Low temperature minus (-)52 °C variants are available.
