Quarter Turn Pneumatic Actuator

These are quarter turn pneumatic actuators used for quarter turn valves.

1. Rack and Pinion type
2. Scotch yoke type

For small torque models use rack and pinion (RP)type series actuators.

Scotch yoke type
Scotch yoke actuators are used for large torque models. The torque characteristics are more suitable for operating ball, plug and butterfly valves as it matches the valve torque characteristics.
These actuators can be fitted with following accessories.
Manual override
Limit switch
Solenoid valve
Quick exhaust valve
Positioners

Scotch yoke type actuator with worm gear type manual override are available from 300 Nm to 30,000 Nm
Manual override can be mounted as sandwich between actuator and valve or it can be mounted above the actuator .
These are available both in spring return and double acting type.

Cylinder Actuator

Types available are:

All cylinders are used for the operation and control of linear valves.
The fail safe position like close, open or stay put can be supplied. these cylinders are either double acting or spring return. large size valves fail safe position can be achieved by volume bottle.
pressure rating 10 bar
temperature rating -23 degree Celsius to 80 degree Celsius.
All these cylinders are designed validated under load as per AWWA C-540
Barrels can be supplied in FRP, stainless steel and aluminum.
Diaphragm actuators are also available.
Carbon steel barrels are precision honed and hard chrome plated. These actuators can be fitted with following accessories.

Cylinder actuators are provided with

1. hydraulic manual override(WH),
2. double acting rack and pinion type manual override  (series WR)
3. screw type manual override (series WT)
4. bevel type manual override (series WB)

spring return actuator  can also be provided with screw type manual override or hydraulic manual override.
